The cheering-up bird this week is the Vulturine Guineafowl (Acryllium vulturinum).It is an African bird and the largest species of guineafowl still alive (i.e. extant). This image was taken in the Schoenbrunn Zoo in Vienna by Manfred Werner/Tsui.
